Hilton Hotel Owner’s Son Supervised Burial Of OAU Student In Shallow Grave – Police Commissioner

A suspect arrested in connection with the alleged murder of Timothy Oludare Adegoke, an MBA student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, has indicted the Managing Director of Hilton Hotels and Resorts, Raheem Adedoyin, in a confessional statement he made to the police.

The Osun State Commissioner of Police, Wale Olokode, revealed this on Tuesday in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

Raheem is the son of Rahmon Adedoyin, owner of the hotel and founder of the Oduduwa University, who was earlier arrested by the police over Adegoke’s death.

Adegoke was found dead by the Osun State police command eight days after he was declared missing by his family and friends.

Preliminary investigations by the police had shown that the deceased checked in at the hotel days before he went missing.

The Osun police commissioner said Adedoyin’s son is the latest suspect to be named in the alleged murder.

“During interrogation, one of the suspects confessed that Roheem, the Managing Director of the hotel who is also the son of Rahmon Adedoyin, organised for the corpse to be taken to the bush,” FIJ quoted Olokode to have said while featuring on Rave FM’s ‘Frank Talk’ in Osogbo on Tuesday.

“The staff members did not inform the police. It was through the report of a missing person that the anti-kidnapping team was able to discover and ‘trace and trace’ Adegoke to that hotel. The trace was then extended to where the corpse was eventually found,” he said.
