Holy Ghost Will Protect Senators From El-Rufai’s Curse – Kaduna PDP Chair

The Kaduna state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has replied comment made by the state governor, Nasir el-Rufai, over the $350 million World Bank loan application rejected by the senate.

El-Rufai had described the three senators representing the state as useless, while urging the people to vote them out in 2019.

He said they will be cursed by God, adding that God will reward them for their wickedness.

“Today, there are no haters of the masses of Kaduna state like Shehu Sani, Suleiman Hunkuyi and Danjuma Laah, God will curse them. God will reward their wickedness against the masses, may God never bless them,” el-Rufai had said.

But in a swift reaction, chairman of the state party, Hassan Hyat, said senators are protected by the power of the Holy Ghost.

He made the statement while addressing party supporters at a reception for decampees of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zonkwa, Zangon Kataf local government area of the state.

“We don’t insult people because we have respect for the government house, but I want to tell you that we are proud of our three senators in the national assembly who stopped plans to shortchange the people,” said Hyat who spoke in Hausa.

“May God bless the senators. Anybody who cursed them, may the curse return to the person – Holy Ghost power, Holy Ghost power, Holy Ghost power. We will not curse them, but we pray to God.”
