House Of Reps Shifts Debate On Herdsmen, Adjourns In Honour of Fallen Colleague
The House of Representatives on Monday adjourned sitting to February 10 in honour of the deceased Honourable Ossy Prestige who died on Monday in a hospital in Germany.
Addressing lawmakers, the Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, sympathised with the untimely death of the lawmaker representing Abia North and South Federal Constituency in Abia State.
The House of Representatives like it’s counterpart in the Senate observed a minute of silence in honour of the fallen legislator; even as the House would reconvene in February 10.
The adjournment also meant that deliberations on the herdsmen crisis expected at plenary today, Tuesday, would now take place when the lawmakers reconvene.
