How Fans Reacted To Royal Family’s Celebration Of England’s Goal

The royal family celebrated in an ecstatic manner as Luke Shaw scored England’s first goal in less than 2 minutes of kickoff.

Prince George and his father, Prince William were present at Wembley to witness the Final against Italy in the Euro 2020.

The seven-year-old was spotted wearing a suit alongside his dad which fans described as a ‘hedge fund manager’s suit.’

Just as the goal was scored, William and his son alongside his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge forgot the composure the royal family is known for as they celebrated just like any other English fan.

William, who is President of the Football Association, had sent a goodwill message to Gareth Southgate’s squad.

He said, “What a team performance it’s been, every member of the squad has played their part.

“Just wish you the very best of luck. You bring out the very best of England and we are all behind you, the whole country is behind you so bring it home.”

Meanwhile the Queen, Elizebeth II had in a message wished to present the Euro trophy to Southgate in Wembley.

English and non English fans on microblogging site Twitter were also excited with the manner the royal family celebrated Shaw’s goal.
