How Prostitutes Absconded With My Money Leaving Condoms, Tissues In My Keke-Tricycle Operator

Mustafa Haulat is a tricycle driver popularly called ‘Keke’ who operates at the Gwarinpa axis of the Federal Capital Territory.

Haulat popularly called ‘Asiri’ who said he has been in the business for over three years drives his tricycle on rent.

He said the business is lucrative and makes an average of N5,000 daily.

But the Keke driver disclosed to THE WHISTLER on Monday there are associated risks in the business ranging from fake transfers to breakdown of the tricycle which could gulp all his daily earnings.

On several occasion, Haulat told THE WHISTLER that he has fallen prey of dubious passengers- especial commercial sex workers.

He narrated, “We face some risk and huge losses. Sometimes, you will buy fuel and end up wasting it. I met two ladies at the 3rd Avenue corner who chartered me for hours. We negotiated N4,000 as payment for my service.

“I took them around to different locations and waited for them to complete whatever business they had there. But when the time we agreed on was about to elapse, the two ladies told me to wait for them while they get something from a shop at Second Avenue Cornershop in Gwarinpa.

“Before they left, they told me to look after their bag and took their phones. I didn’t know it was an empty bag. After waiting for them for close to fifteen minutes, I opened the bag and discovered it was full of condoms and tissue papers.”

He also narrated how he almost took fake transfer from another sex worker who he said claimed she was out of cash.

“We bargained N4,000 to take her to several destinations after which she asked for my account number. But due to the experience I had with her, I rejected a transfer and she paid me N350 instead which I finally accepted after minutes of quarrel,” he said.
