I Didn’t Say It’s Easier To Reform SARS Than PDP – Fayose

The immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has denied saying that it is easier to reform the just dissolved Special Anti-Robbery Squad than to reform the People’s Democratic Party.

Fayose is a leader of the PDP but he is having problems with some leaders of the party now.

He was assaulted at a rally of the PDP in Ondo town last week.

The former governor described as totally untrue the tweet credited to his media aide, Lere Olayinka where he allegedly quoted Fayose as saying it was easier to reform the SARS.

The former Ekiti State governor said in a tweet early.Monday morning that he never made such staement

The tweet read, “In the last 24 hours, false comments have been credited to me. One of such comments reads ‘It is easier to reform #SARS than to Reform #PDP!

“Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose” Any comment credited to me but not on this handle or signed by @OlayinkaLere is fake.”

The publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore has also accused the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, of preventing President Muhammadu Buhari from dissolving SARS since Friday following the renewed protest to end SARS.

Sowore said this on his Twitter handle but Adesina also debunked the allegation in a tweet.
