Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has restated that he will by “divine intervention” become Nigeria’s president.
Fayose, who on Friday spoke at the 13th convocation lecture of the Benson Idahosa University, Benin City, said he is the man to watch in this generation.
“It is carnality that makes you look at me and think I cannot be president. I am the man to watch in this generation. I surely will become the president. Something has to give way for you to manifest,” he said.
Governor Fayose, it would be recalled, had last month proclaimed that he will become Nigeria’s next president after he must have defeated President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
“I have penchant for taking powers; that one in Buhari’s hand. I would take it. I’m going straight to that Villa. I’m the next president.
“I want to be the next president of Nigeria. My own won’t be this change that has brought nothing. We are going to represent the people well and tell them the truth,” Fayose had said.
