Following the citing of the Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, a group, the Igbos in Nigeria Movement (INN) has praised President Muhammadu Buhari for the initiative.

Recall that the Nigerian Army on Friday conducted the ground breaking ceremony for the Reference Hospital at Nkwagu Military Cantonment, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

Igbokwe noted that by the action, Buhari has proven that he is a “friend of the south-east”, adding that the president has once again shamed his naysayers and rubbished all their narration of hatred with this act.

He said this was the latest in a long list of developmental projects initiated by both the Buhari-led administration and the army under Lt. Gen. Buratai.

According to him, the army boss’ several security interventions and projects in the region were for good and for the betterment of the lives of the people.

Among others, the group recalled the water treatment plant in Enugu, partnership with Innoson Motors and indigenous shoemakers in Aba as well as several ongoing FG projects including airports, roads and Niger Bridge.

Igbokwe expressed the group’s gratitude to the president and the COAS for achieving another milestone.

The group also urged Buhari and Buratai to continue the good works in the region and across the country.
