IGP Orders DIG To Probe Killing Of Footballer In Ogun

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu has ordered an investigation into the death of a footballer, Tiamiyu Kazeem, who was allegedly killed by a police officer on Saturday.

Kazeem’s death was said to have triggered protests across Remo and Sagamu in Ogun. The police in Ogun had earlier denied killing the player, alleging that he died after jumping out of a vehicle to evade arrest.
