IGP Removes Jimoh Moshood, Names Frank Mba New Force PRO

Barely 24 hours after his appointment as the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Abubakar Adamu Mohammed, is said to have removed Mr Moshood Jimoh as the spokesperson of the force.

Mohammed has reportedly reappointed a former police spokesman, Frank Mba, as the new Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the force.

Mba previously held the position from 2012 to 2014 under former IGP, Mohammed Abubakar’s headship of the police force.

He was removed as PRO after Abubakar’s exit from the force in 2014.

Mr Mba, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), is said to have arrived Abuja already to take over from Jimoh as the new force PRO.
