David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known by his stage name Davido, has continued to make waves on social media as he recently boasted of being the first person to make $1 million off ‘Pon Pon’ sound.
The ‘assurance’ crooner revealed this while speaking in an interview with SoundCity FM presenter Moet on Tuesday.
Speaking on the controversy surrounding the originator of the popular Afro Dance Music (ADM) sound which many call ‘pon pon’ sound, Davido who is amongst the many Nigerian artistes claiming the rights to the creation of the sound, stated that he was the first to make $1 million from the sound.

Davido, and his crew members further talk about ‘Aje’ and hinted of possible upcoming collaborative album.
Adeleke was on Tuesday signed two different deals, the first one was a cooking endorsement deal with Dunes centre Abuja for his girlfriend Chioma Avril Rowland, while the second deal is an endorsement deal with Infinix production company for himself.
