Imo PDP Rally: How Can Tinubu Celebrate Ignorance? Secondus Mocks Buhari’s NTA Interview

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has said the 2019 presidential election is going to be between an “incompetent” President Muhammadu Buhari and an “energetic and competent” Atiku Abubakar.

Speaking at the Imo state presidential rally of the PDP, Secondus slammed the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and other leaders of the ruling party for celebrating ignorance.

“Let me inform all of you that this election is about the incompetent person from the APC, which is President Buhari and the competent and energetic personality – former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar.

“But it is shameful for our country – a civilized country like Nigeria – that the APC leaders are celebrating ignorance.

“Di you watch that NTA interview? Can that man be your president? Can he be your president? How can Tinubu celebrate ignorance and incompetency? It is a shame.

“We have our presidential candidate who has invested, who had been tried, and who is successful in the private sector and the public sector. A man with ability, a man with capacity, a man that can bring unity for our country, a man that will provide employment for all, a man will turn our economy around, a man that will restructure government. What else are you looking for?” he queried.

Among PDP stalwarts who graced the Imo rally are Atiku Abubakar, his vice presidential candidate, Peter Obi, Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki, and a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Anyim Pius Anyim.

Others are Governors Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, and other south east leaders.
