‘In 2019, Buhari Will Do A Technical Handover’ – Reno Omokri
Reno Omokri, a media aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan has knocked the presidency for “lying” about the “technical stopover” of President Muhammadu Buhari in London.
The presidency in a statement by Garba Shehu, senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, said Buhari “had technical stopover in London and will be on his way back soon”.
Although the president has arrived Abuja, Nigeria, the development had sparked reactions from Nigerians who said the president had not included the UK trip in his travel itinerary.
Omokri alleged that if FG is prosecuting Saraki for lying on his asset declaration form, “why should the same FG now lie to us?”
So President Buhari’s plane was big enough to fly to the US without a ‘technical stopover’, but too small to return to Nigeria without doing a ‘technical stopover’ in London? It took 2 days for the ‘technical’ work. And it is a coincidence that his doctors happen to be in London.

Since I was born, I‘ve never heard of ‘technical stop over’. Who is receiving technical support in London? Is it the Presidential jet or the President? The Presidency should stop embarrassing itself. If Buhari wants to see his UK doctors, say so, instead of this ‘technical Lie’!
