INEC Denies Taraba PDP Governorship Primary
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has denied any connection in conducting the primary election that produced the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the just concluded governorship election in Taraba state.
INEC disclosed this in front of a tribunal sitting in Abuja, insisting the Peoples Democratic Party in the state went above the law by conducting the election without the supervision of INEC.
The Peoples Democratic Party through its counsel Mr Solomon Akuma (SAN) denied the accusation claiming an election was conducted which produced Mr. Darius Ishaku as its governorship candidate.

An eye witness and an INEC official told the tribunal that no official from the Independent National Electoral Commission was present when the election was conducted.
