Investigation Will Expose Hidden Things About Mohbad’s Death- Police PRO

The Nigeria Police Force has said the ongoing investigation on the circumstances surrounding the death of Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji popularly known as Mohbad will unravel hidden things.

The spokesperson of the police force, Muyiwa Adejobi disclosed this less than 40 minutes after the Lagos command announced the conclusion of Mohbad’s autopsy procedure.

While reacting to an X user seeking justice for the late singer, Adejobi urged Nigerians to be open-minded and allow the law to take its due course.

“The investigations will surely expose many hidden things,” he said via his X account.

He reiterated the police’s commitment to working with experts to unravel the circumstances and clarify speculations on the matter.

“All we need is to allow the autopsy to be done and work on the opinion of the experts, which is very key and vital.

“I appeal to people to allow us to do our job as expected of us. If possible, certain individuals should stop interrogating people on this matter.”

The Lagos police earlier said an autopsy on the late singer’s corpse had been concluded and were expecting the result from the pathologists.

THE WHISTLER reported that the late singer’s corpse was exhumed on Thursday afternoon to enable an autopsy into the cause of the singer’s death to be conducted.

Mohbad died on September 12, while allegedly receiving treatment at a health facility in Lagos.

He was subsequently buried amid controversies that he died from unnatural causes.

Consequently, the police set up a special investigation team within the Homicide Section of the command to probe the death of the late singer.
