The FCSSIP is a three-year strategy initiated by the Head of Service, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita and her team of expertise to reposition the Nigerian Federal Public Service as an effective machinery of government for improved service delivery.

The exercise, which is expected to end on August 3, commenced on Monday with 330,820 employees in 486 Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).

The employees being verified in the exercise are those that have completed their update on the on-line via the IPPIS portal.

Speaking after he was screened, Mustapha said the exercise would enable government to maintain an accurate and up to date data of employees, which would enhance transparency in personnel emolument costs.
