Iran’s Vice-President Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Iran’s vice-president has been diagnosed with coronavirus as the deadly disease continues to take its toll on countries around the world.

Masoumeh Ebtekar, who is Iran’s vice-president for women and family affairs, has become the latest person to be infected with the virus in the country.

According to reports, no fewer than 254 people have been infected with Coronavirus in Iran.

The Coronavirus disease, now termed COVID-2019, is said to have killed at least 26 people in Iran as the Middle East nation continues to battle its spread.

Ebtekar’s case is coming less than a week after the country’s deputy minister of health tested positive for COVID-19.
