ISWAP ‘Errand Boy’ Trailed To Borno Market Chewed Sim Card After Arrest

Troops of the Nigerian Army have arrested an errand boy and supplier of logistics to one of the notorious commanders of the Islamic State West African Province (ISWAP) in Borno State.

The suspect, Wida Kachalla, was trailed to a township market in Benisheikh and arrested by troops led by the acting Commander 154 Taskforce Batallion, Major DY Chiwar.

The arrest reportedly occurred after joint efforts with local vigilantes who trailed the suspect to Benisheikh Market in the state.

Kachalla, until his arrest, was an errand boy for Modu Sulum, the notorious “Logistics Commander of ISWAP” reportedly killed by troops of Operation Hadin Kai, Eons Intelligence reports.

The suspect, a native of Murguba Settlement, an ISWAP-Boko Haram enclave reportedly chewed his GSM Sim cards at point of arrest.

However, the troops had reportedly recovered his two mobile phones.
