JAMB, in its Weekly Bulletin on Monday, stated that despite the initial deadline of September 15, 2025, these institutions have yet to comply, prompting JAMB to urge them to submit the scores without further delay.
According to JAMB, the 16 defaulting universities are: Abia State University, Uturu; Bayelsa Medical University; Bingham University, Karu; Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia; Federal University of Technology, Ikot-Abasi; Federal University, Lokoja; Kwara State University, Malete; Lead City University, Ibadan.
Other institutions include Madonna University, Elele; McPherson University, Seriki Sotayo; Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike; Modibbo Adama University, Yola; Rhema University, Aba; Topfaith University, Mkpatak; University of Abuja; and University of Calabar.
JAMB disclosed that a total of 40 candidates are affected due to the institution’s delay in submission.
It had earlier noted that 23 out of 71 universities chosen by the candidates had failed to submit their Post-UTME screening scores by the initial deadline, affecting 135 candidates.
JAMB noted that in a bid to ensure a smooth admission process, it has adjusted the deadline for the final assessment of underage candidates.
“By this press release and emails sent to these defaulting universities, they are urged to submit their screening scores without further delay.
“Furthermore, the Board wishes to remind all public universities to submit their recommended candidates on CAPS on or before Tuesday, 30th September 2025, while all private universities are to submit their recommendations on or before Friday, 31st October 2025.
“This is to ensure that the deadlines of 30th October 2025, for public universities, and 31st November 2025, for private universities are achieved.
“These dates are sacrosanct as decided at the 2025 Policy Meeting on Admissions under the chairmanship of Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, CON, the Honourable Minister of Education,” it noted.
