Jonathan’s Ex Aide Drags EFCC To Court

In the suit filed at the Federal High Court, Adegbe is claiming N100 million damages for his detention which violated his fundamental rights.

Adegbe, through his counsel, Ogwu Onoja, (SAN), urged the court to declare his arrest and continued detention by the anti-graft agency since February 11 unconstitutional.

Onoja further urged the court to declare that the EFCC violated Adegbe’s right to personal liberty guaranteed by the 1999 Constitution, adding that the court should make an order directing the EFCC to immediately release the applicant from unlawful detention.
