Meanwhile, President Donald Trump tweeted that “I WON THIS ELECTION, BY A LOT!,” citing electoral fraud while filing suits in various courts to challenge the legality of the electoral process.

But Biden immediately thanked Americans for choosing him to lead the country.

His tweets reads:

“America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country.

“The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans — whether you voted for me or not.

“I will keep the faith that you have placed in me.”

CNN reports that “in a cinematic twist, it was Biden’s boyhood state of Pennsylvania that put him over the 270 electoral vote threshold and delivered the White House.”

The electoral body is yet to announce the official winner of the November 3 elections.
