Just In: Lagos Discharges Two More Coronavirus Patients

The Lagos State government on Monday announced the discharge of two more coronavirus patients after they made full recovery, bringing the total number of discharged patients to 31.

“I have more great news for you from our Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba. Today, two more female patients have recovered fully and have tested negative to #COVID19 twice consecutively. They have been discharged from the facility,” the state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said on Twitter.

“We are full of appreciation to the front line health workers, working hard during this difficult time..” 

This brings the total number of patients who have fully recovered to 31.All 31 were discharged from the state’s facility in Yaba.

Nigeria has recorded 232 cases of the dreaded virus and 36 have been discharged nationwide with five deaths.

Lagos has the highest number with a total of 120 confirmed cases.
