JUST IN: Nancy Pelosi Calls For Trump’s Removal 13 Days To Transition

Speaker of the United States House , Nancy Pelosi, has called for the removal of President Donald Trump over the attack at the Capitol Hill.

Pelosi, in a press briefing on Thursday, vowed to move impeachment proceedings against Trump if he is not immediately removed.

Pelosi, who is a strong opponent of Trump’s policies, said that he had stained the nation’s history by his rhetorics.

“Because yesterday, the President of the United States incited an armed insurrection against America. The desecration of the U.S. Capitol, which is the temple of our democracy and the violent target at Congress are horrors that will forever stay in our nation’s history instigated by the president of the United States and that’s why it’s such a stain.

“In calling for this seditious act, the president has committed more assault on our nation and our people.

” I join the Senate Democratic leader in calling on the vice president to remove this president by immediately invoking the 25th Amendment; if the vice president do not act, the Congress may be prepared to move forward with impeachment,” she said.

After the incident on Wednesday, some members of congress called for the removal of Trump.

Recall that Trump had urged his supporters to come out at Washington DC and protest.

He claimed that the election was rigged.

Although he conceded defeat to President-elect Joe Biden, he vowed to keep proving his point after transition on January 20.
