JUST IN: Ronaldo Overtakes Michel Platini To Become Highest Goal Scorer In Euro Championship

Five times Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has topped the all time score chart in the history of EUFA Euro Championship.

Ronaldo on Tuesday scored two goals at the last ten minutes of the regular time in the Euro 2020 match between Portugal and Hungary.

Ronaldo, 36, now has 11 goals which are two ahead of France legend Michel Platin’s record.

The Group F encounter which finally ended 3-0 in favour of Portugal is Ronaldo’s first match in his record 5th appearance in the history of Euro.

So far the Juventus star has played 22 games throughout his five Euro appearances.

Portugal who is the defending champions scored their first goal at the 84th minute with a goal from Raphael Guerreiro.

Ronaldo converted a penalty in the 87th minute and scored his brace at the second minute of the extra time.

Portugal with the result tops the Group F which has World Cup champions, France and Germany.
