JUST IN: U.S. Astronauts Return To Earth From Space After Two Months

The United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), on Sunday, announced the arrival of two of its astronauts from space exploration mission, after spending two months.

This was confirmed in a tweet by President Donald Trump.

“Great to have NASA Astronauts return to Earth after very successful two month mission. Thank you to all!,” he stated.

NASA also disclosed that the astronauts, Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley, landed in an ocean.

“@AstroBehnken and @Astro_Doug have been lifted out of the water and are aboard the Go Navigator. Welcome home. #LaunchAmerica,” it tweeted.

According to Vice President, Mike Pence, the crew had travelled to space since May.

“It was an honor to witness history as @NASA and @SpaceX launched American astronauts on an American rocket from American soil to the @Space_Station in May.

“Today, we welcome home @AstroBehnken & @Astro_Doug! On behalf of a grateful Nation, thank you!,” he tweeted.
