JUST IN: US Attorney General Contradicts Trump, Says No Fraud In Presidential Election

The United States Attorney General William Barr , on Tuesday said that Justice Department’s investigation showed that there was no evidence of widespread voter fraud at the November 3 elections.

Barr made this known in an interview with The Associated Press.

“To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election,” he said.

Recall that Barr had directed the attorney generals across the US to probe whether there were voting irregularities.

His directive was in view of the allegations of electoral fraud levelled by the US president Donald Trump after his opponent in the election, Joe Biden, was called the winner of the election.

Trump has refused to concede defeat while filing multiple lawsuits and compelling legislative hearings on his claims.

Barr’s comments on Tuesday is a high profile disclosure, because he is perceived to be a Trump ally.
