Kaduna Deputy Speaker Dumps APC For PDP

The Deputy Speaker of Kaduna State House of Assembly, John Audu Kwaturu has dumped the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Citing “Impunity,” as the reason for his defection, the lawmaker who represents Kachia Constituency said “the ideology of fairness, equity and justice no longer exist in APC and that is why I had quit.”

Speaking with journalists on Friday, the Deputy Speaker said, “But before I quit, l did communicate and discuss with the Deputy Governor, Architect Bala Bantex and other party stakeholders in my local government area, Kachia local government area.

”I also see no reason why I should remain in a party where my interest is not protected.

“So I decided to dump the party alongside thousands of my supporters, including my Ward Chairman .”
