President Muhammadu Buhari’s ongoing presidential campaign rally in Kano State is allegedly being attended by two governors from Niger Republic.
The photos of Governors Issa Moussa of Zinder and Zakiri Umar of Maradi attending the presidential campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano surfaced on Twitter some moments ago.
The Niger Republic governors were alleged to have been invited to attend the campaign rally by Kano State Governor, Umar Ganduje.
Nigerians have since taken to twitter to react to the development.

What extra checks has @inecnigeria put in place to ensure foreign nationals don't take part in the February 16 Elections? This is important as they seem to be taking part in the @OfficialAPCNg campaign #NigeriaDecides2019 #PMBInKano https://t.co/FpGX5epEqi

Please someone should help me understand this scenario, I’m not well informed, are Niger Republic citizens from Zinder and Marabi allowed to vote in Nigeria? or are those states now part of Nigeria? ?♂️

By taking obviouslu partisan positions??? You must be deluded to think foreigners are allowed to meddle in the internal politics of other countries in the name of solidarity. IT IS AGAINST ALL KNOWN RULES OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

@AMADICHIMA Come and see the relatives of the lifeless man whose father is a duck seller from Niger Republic meddling in our internal affairs.

So Governors from Niger Republic came to receive PMB in Kano. That's very good. Never knew Niger is part of Nigeria now

This is very nauseating and not right in anyway for Foreigners to come to Nigeria to campaign for another candidate. I don't see any intelligence in this and it simply confirms the rumours that Kano state voters are populated by foreigners from Niger and Mali.

Can @elrufai now see the real guys mobilizing supporters from neigbouring Niger republic?.
— Otun Balogun (@Toluwaseniyi) January 31, 2019

— MAGNAM (@obuks36) January 31, 2019
@dawisu sir, is it right logical that a foreign gov, to take part in a Nigeria political campaign? Where is that done? Educated us or give us a logical reason, because I don't see you as someone who is that or this shallow.

It's arrogance and pride that will kill Buhari. He never cares about the feelings of other components of Nigeria. Buhari commits impunity with wreckless abandon. Buhari and Lucifer are competing in the art of lying. Buhari sees Nigeria from the prism of Northern hemisphere.

What are governors from Niger Republic doing at a political rally in Nigeria? Nothern Nigeria is the major reason we have not made appreciable progress as a country cos they keep opening up their borders to aliens during elections to swell their numbers, but end up worse off. Smh
