Kanye West To Contest In 2024 U.S Presidential Election

Popular American rapper, Kanye West has declared interest to run for the United States presidential election come 2024.

The rapper disclosed this at the innovation seminar that held at the annual Fast Company Innovation Festival in New York City on Thursday.

According Daily Mail Online, West revealed to a stunned crowd that he plans to run for president in the 2024 election, 

The rapper also mentioned changing his name to ‘Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West’, along with lead Yeezy designer Steve Smith, who showed off a pair of biodegradable shoes made with algae from ponds.

In an enlightening 35-minute talk at the New York City event, West let loose a series of bizarre and intriguing revelations that have become synonymous with his brand.

According to PEOPLE, the rapper said he was planning to also change his name for a year.

“When people say it’s crass to call yourself a billionaire, I say I might legally change my name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West for a year until you all understand exactly what it is, it will be on the license plate,” he said.

He also revealed his plans to run for the number one job in the United States of America in 2024.

“When I run for president in 2024 —” West said, to laughter from the audience. “What y’all laughing at?” I’m not going to run, I’m going to walk. What they’re saying is Kanye’s crazy — one and three African Americans are in jail and all the celebrities are in jail also because they can’t say nothing because they’re so scared,” he said.

According to him, he said the black voters in the US have been segregated to the demographics. He has experienced it as an African American fashion designer.

“As black designers out of America, you can’t have an opinion. You can only be the consumer… you can only be a demographic. And that a boardroom says ‘this is the black demographic…This is who you’re supposed to vote on,”

“This is what you’re supposed to buy. This is your Popeye’s chicken sandwich you’re supposed to eat on. I have seen the boardroom and back. And it’s completely the concept of a demographic,” he concluded.

Recall that the American rapper Kanye West, released on October 25, 2019, his ninth album “Jesus Is King” The album follows a Christian theme, West describing it as “an expression of the gospel.
