Katsina Ready To Standstill As Ex-FMBN Boss, Kumo, Weds Buhari’s Daughter

Come this Friday, October 27, all roads will be leading to Daura, Katsina, home state of President Muhammadu Buhari, as he gives out his daughter, Fatima in marriage to Mallam Ya’u Kumo, former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria.
The wedding Fatiha is to hold at the residence of President Buhari in Maiaduwa G.R.A Daura.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is expected to lead the government delegation made up of ministers, governors and other political appointee and it is seen as one of the major political gathering of the year.

Ya’u Kumo was born on the 5th November 1959 in Gombe, Gombe State. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1983 and a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management (MBA) from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi in 1999.
He is a member, Nigeria institute of Management (NIM), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCITN), Fellow of the African Business School (ABS), Fellow of the Institute of Research & Leadership Technology (IRLT), Member of the Institute of Management Executive & Administration of Nigeria (MIMEA), Member of the Nigeria Institute of Certified Credit Administrators (AICCA).
