Distraught parents have blamed the management of a primary school in Nairobi, Kenya, for the death of seven pupils after a classroom in the school collapsed on Monday.
No fewer than fifty-seven others were said to have been injured following the incident.
The parents told German press agency dpa that the school’s management should be blamed for the poor structural quality of the collapsed building.

But the school’s manager, Moses Ndirangu, attributed the building collapse to an ongoing sewer works on one side of the classrooms.
Meanwhile, in its reaction on Monday, the Kenyan government confirmed the death of the seven pupils during a press conference addressed by one of its spokesperson, Colonel Cyrus Oguna, at the Precious Talent Academy in Dagoretti, Nairobi.
The authorities were said to have evacuated the first casualties to a nearby Catholic clinic by motorbike as ambulances could not arrive at the scene in time.
In its reaction, the Kenya Red Cross announced in a tweet that it had set up information and tracing desk and would be offering psycho-social support services to affected persons.
