Adeyemi Alao, the suspected murderer and boyfriend of Khadijat Oluboyo, ex-Ondo Deputy Governor’s daughter, has been arrested by the State Police Command.
It was reported earlier by THE WHISTLER that Khadijat, a final year student of the Adekunle Ajasin University was found dead in Alao’s residence on Sunday.
Police spokesman, Femi Joseph, a Superintendent of Police(SP) said the suspect was arrested by a team of detectives from the State Criminal Investigations Department (CID) on Monday.

Recall that the deceased was said to have gone missing in her school for six days before her corpse was discovered inside her boyfriend’s room.
It was learnt that the Abuja based boyfriend had made attempts to bury Khadijat’s corpse in his house at Oke-Aro area of Akure because the herbalist that did the money ritual for Alao, instructed him to keep the corpse for seven days.
There were speculations that the suspected killer was a “yahoo boy” who planned to use his late girlfriend for rituals.
Speaking on the deceased case, the SP said the suspect, who was already in police custody has been cooperating with the police on relevant information on the circumstances that led to the death of Khadijat.
