Biodun Fatoyinbo: 3 Women Who’ve Openly Accused COZA Pastor Of Sexual Abuse

Mr. Biodun Fatoyinbo, the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of God Assembly (COZA), is in the news for the umpteenth time for alleged sexual abuse.

This comes as Bukola Dakolo, wife of Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo, has joined a growing list of women who have either accused the COZA pastor of rape or attempted sexual abuse.

In an explosive interview with YNaija, Busola detailed how Pastor Fatoyimbo allegedly took her virginity after raping her at the age of 17.

In view of the several allegations of sexual abuse levelled against Fatoyimbo, THE WHISTLER highlights the confessions of three women against the COZA pastor.

Ese Walter

Ese Walter was the first woman and former female congregant of COZA to come out and accuse Pastor Fatoyimbo of taking sexual advantage of her.

In a 2013 blog post, Ms. Walter, who is now married with kids, accused the COZA pastor of abusing her psychologically.

Although she admitted that her sexual relationship with Fatoyimbo was consensual, Walter said she felt “abused and manipulated” by the pastor.

According to Ms. Walter, her sexual relationship with Fatoyimbo started during one of the pastor’s visit to London at the time.

She claimed to have arranged a taxi to pick the pastor up from the airport during his visit to London, after which the pastor invited her to his hotel room and offered her alcohol.

“You don’t have to be shy Ese, even if it’s alcohol, feel free and order what you want,” she claimed the pastor said.

Ms Walter claimed she and Fayimbo engaged in a week-long sexual relationship during that visit.

She narrated how she spoke to another pastor of COZA over the matter when she could no longer handle the psychological trauma the alleged sexual relationship with Fayoyimbo brought her.

“I made an effort to reach out to him because I realized the right thing to do was talk to an elder in the church and seek some sort of remedy to a wrong I believed had been done me. Instead, Pastor Flo said Pastor Biodun had confessed to him and they had ‘talked’ about it and somehow that was supposed to be OK. He asked what it was I wanted coming to talk to him about it when I did, I told him I realized what happened between Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo and I was wrong and not just that I felt abused and manipulated. I also said I thought it was wrong for Pastor Biodun to go on preaching without taking time to deal with his personal character flaws. I said I thought he was danger to all the young women that attended the church,” she had said in 2013.

Franca

In the same 2013, barely two days after Walter’s allegation against Fatoyimbo, another former female member of COZA Church who identified herself as Franca also accused the pastor of almost taking canal knowledge of her after luring her to a hotel in Lagos.

The lady claimed Pastor Fayimbo lured her to Wheatbaker Hotel in Lagos under the pretext that he wanted her to do some computer-based work for him.

According to Franca, he called her names like “small illiterate uneducated girl” after she denied his sexual advances. The lady had claimed to have pictures and recordings to back up her claim against COZA pastor.

Busola Dakola

Singer Timi Dakolo’s wife is the latest to come and accuse Fatoyimbo of sexual assault.

She granted an exclusive interview with Chude Jidenowo, co-founder of Red Media, where she said, “There was no GSM then. I didn’t know and he came to my house. My house then, the gate was opened but the living room is where you just knock the door and someone will come downstairs and open the door. However, my mum had travelled with my younger sister. It was just I and my elder sister at home.

“The house was a duplex so big that if you are in a room upstairs you won’t know what’s going on downstairs. So I came down normally, it was 6:30 am to 7 am pretty early, and I heard a knock. Ah, who’s that, Pastor Biodun. I couldn’t say anything because what he doing here this early?.

“Immediately I opened the door, he just pushed me. He didn’t say anything, didn’t utter any word, he just pushed me to one of the chairs in my living room and I saw him, he was removing his belt.

“So I was like what? And he said, ‘keep quiet, do what I want and you will be fine’. At this point, a whole lot was going on in my head because he was someone I had put up here and I thought was really really concerned about me. I had already filled him in the place of a father that could speak to me, guide me and he was there about to do something I did not believe.

“When I was about to react, he covered my mouth and when he did he said, Busola, listen to me and you will be fine, just do what I want you to do.

“I didn’t struggle, I just left him and he brought out his penis. I was wearing a nightgown and pant, he pulled down my pant found difficulty to enter I was grunting, I would cry and he eventually penetrated, blood dropped on the floor.

“At that point, he finished what he wanted to do, had an orgasm and he zipped up. He left me there, I just sat on the floor and he went out.

“It looks just like an event but after that whole lot damaged within me. He entered his car, came back with Crest a soft drink with green content. It was already opened so he just poured it in my mouth and I had to swallow as he did that.

“He tapped me and said, you should be happy I’m the one that did this to you and he said I’ll see you and he left.

“He said, ‘be happy a man of God did this to you, disvirgined you’. At this point he was already a pastor in Ilorin, his wife had given birth to their first child Shindara and I was in the choir.”

Checks on all social media handles of Pastor Fatoyimbo and the COZA Church website show that the past has yet to deny or admit the allegations levelled against him by Busola.

Meanwhile, Busola’s husband, Timi Dakola, had weeks ago shared a series of social media posts where he accused an unnamed “Abuja-based pastor” of going about molesting his female church members.

Fatoyimbo’s Church, the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) is located at Guzape Hills in Asokoro Extension, Guzape, Abuja.
