Ekiti APC Rally: ‘God Used Ngige To Campaign For Fayose Instead Of Fayemi’

Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s media aide, Reno Omokri, has reacted to the blunder committed by Labour Minister, Dr Chris Ngige, at the governorship campaign rally of Dr Kayode Fayemi on Tuesday.

Recall that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) had held a rally for its candidate, Fayemi, ahead of the Ekiti State governorship election on Saturday.

At the rally, Ngige repetitively committed the blunder of asking electorates to vote the state’s sitting governor, Ayodele Fayose, instead of his party’s gubernatorial candidate at the July 14 poll.

The minister had said: “We thank the leaders of our party especially those from the South West for forgiving the Ekiti people for the mistake they made in 2014 so they won’t make that mistake again.

“If you marry two wives you will know the one that is good, Fyose is the good one, he cooks, give his husband food and who is not troublesome, so you must bring back Fayose on Saturday,” he said.

Reacting, Omokri claimed it was God who used the minister to campaign for Fayose instead of the candidate of the ruling APC.
