Jos Accident: Lalong Visits Injured Pupils, Pays Medical Bills

 

The Governor of Plateau state, Simon Lalong, has promised to pay the medical bills of 98 pupils and Staff involved in the auto crash that claimed the life of two pupils from Our Lady of Fatima Private School, Kuru, in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The development was disclosed by Mr. Yakub Dati, the Commissioner for Information and Communication when he spoke to newsmen.

Lalong, who visited the children on their individual beds, spoke to them in whispers and urged them to be strong while he was touring facilities in the hospital.

The accident occurred at Mararaba Jamaa junction, of Jos South local government area, Plateau state, while on their way to school at Kuru Jenta of the local government area.

According to reports, an official of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) at the site of the incident said that the early morning accident was as a result of brake failure.
