Lagos Declares Thursday Work Free Day For Buhari’s Visit

The Lagos State Government has declared Thursday, March 29 as work free day ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s two-day working visit to the state.

The state government in a statement issued Tuesday by Kehinde Bamigbetan, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, said the public holiday would enable Lagosians come out en-masse to welcome the President.

The President is billed to attend the Colloquium in honour of Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Thursday.

Mr Buhari is also expected to commission some projects in the state.

Bamigbetan also urged residents in the state to adhere to security operatives so as to ensure peace and orderly.
