The Lagos State Government has said it has no hand in the five per cent levy on audio and visual contents of physical and digital platforms in the state.

Consequently the government said it had suspended the Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Film and Video Censors Board, Bamidele Balogun over the development.

The development followed a letter from the film board addressed to IROKO TV’s Jason Njoku, which was reported by THE WHISTLER.

The letter sent to IrokoTV was signed by the suspended Executive Secretary.
