Lagos, Ogun Activate New Covid-19 Testing Laboratories, Total Now 17

The number of Coronavirus testing laboratories in Nigeria has increased to 17 after the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control(NCDC) activated additional two.

According to a tweet by the centre on Tuesday, the two laboratories are in Lagos and Ogun States.

It added that the activation of the new laboratories was a result of collaboration with a private consultant, 54gene and the state Governments.

In another tweet, 54gene said the COVID-19 mobile laboratory would help expand capacity for COVID-19 testing across the country.
