The Lagos State Police Command says it has arrested a suspect who stole the phone of a young passerby along the Ikeja area of the state.
The command said the suspect was caught by police officers on patrol along Awolowo way in Ikeja.
According to a tweet on its handle, the suspect “struck his body against the victim intentionally and stole his phone stylishly while his partner kept distracting the victim with words and slaps.”

Furthermore, it disclosed how the suspect was arrested: “He quickly got on a bus before being arrested by the officers who conducted a search and found the phone on him. He will be charged to court.”
