Lagos State Govt Calls For Introduction Of Tech Innovation In School Curricula

The Lagos State Government has said that the introduction of technology innovation in the curricula of schools will produce quality graduates that will be excellent at work and in life.

This was disclosed on Friday by the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Government on Education, Tokunbo Wahab via a tweet at @osaelagos.

Wahab who was at the sensitization of the students of Lagos State University, Ojo Main Campus on Thursday, said that 3000 final year students will be empowered by the fourth edition of the annual Ready Set Work initiative of the Lagos State Government.

He said that when students are well tutored on how to effectively use technology to solve problems, it helps them to become solution providers everywhere they go.

He also advised the students to take advantage of the state government’s ‘ready set work’ 2019 initiative to learn creative ideas and skills that will transform them to kings and queens in their various fields of endeavors.

On his part, the Vice chancellor of university, Olanrewaju Fagbohun lauded the government for choosing the school for such initiative.

THE WHISTLER reports that the ‘ready set work’ training programme is an initiative of the Lagos state government which is aimed at preparing final year students for self-dependence and for post-graduation rigours of the society.
