Ambode also dismissed the Head of Inspection and Quality Control, Adeoye Adeyemi, and the Zonal District Officer, Dosunmu Gbadebo, while the Zonal Head of Eti-Oa West, Shrift Akinde, was compulsorily retired from the civil service.
Recall that few day ago, the Lekki Worldwide Estate Managing Director, Richard Nyong, was ordered by a Lagos court to be remanded for 30 days.
A statement issued by the Lagos State Head of Service, Olabowale Ademola, revealed that the civil servants were dismissed for negligence, which constitutes an act of misconduct under Public Service Rule 040401.

Ademola said that the government will no longer tolerate public officials and private contractors who violate building regulations.
“It is also a clarion call to them to be alive to their responsibilities as any act of negligence will face sanctions, while hardworking officers will be rewarded appropriately,” she said.
