LIVE UPDATES: Tinubu’s Legacy At Stake As Ambode, Sanwo-Olu Battle For Lagos APC Ticket
In what could test Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s political weight in Lagos State, serving Governor, Akinwumi Ambode and the preferred candidate of Tinubu, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, are set to battle for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state today.

10:59 a.m – Some APC delegates and officials have arrived at the primary venue in Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA. Sanwolu’s agents are already on ground while Ambode’s agents are yet to arrive at the venue.
11:08 am – Sanwo-Olu being cheered as he arrived at his ward.
11:16 am – Electoral officials call on the agents of aspirants to come out in Alimosho LG
11:16 am – At Ward C, Olusosun and Oregun people are currently collecting their membership cards. Actual voting will start by 12:00 pm after all delegates have been accredited.
11:41 am – APC members at Sanwo-Olu’s ward (Ward E3, Lagos Island) display thier cards and waiting to cast their vote.
11:46 am – Party members being accreditation at Ward C, Orire, Amuwo-Odofin LGA.

1:28 p.m: Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the APC, arrives Ward C in Alausa, Lagos State, to acknowledge his supporters as the ongoing governorship primary of the party.
