Liverpool Midfielder, Thiago Alcantara has tested positive for coronavirus and will miss their next two matches with Arsenal and Aston Villa.
The Spaniard, 29, signed from German side Bayern Munich this summer.
He missed the game against Arsenal last night and manager Jorgen Klopp was economical with information regarding the player’s health status when quizzed.

He maintained the player will be back in action after the international break.
“After the international break he will be fine, for sure.
“That’s the situation in the moment.
“He is not fit enough to be involved today, but that’s it.”
But team doctor, Jim Moxon revealed the Spaniard’s viral status saying the club followed all safety precautionary measures
“It is the choice of each individual whether they reveal publicly the outcome of a Covid-19 test.
“We have followed all the protocols to the letter and Thiago is OK.
“He will be self-isolating now as per the guidelines and hopefully he’ll be back with us soon.”
