LMC Reward CHAN Eagles With $10,000

The League Management Company (LMC) on behalf of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), has rewarded the Super Eagles ‘B’ with a cash gift of $10,000, after the team’s emphatic 4-1 victory over Niger at the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Rwanda.

LMC are the organisers of the Nigeria Professional Football League from which the 23 home based players were selected to represent Nigeria at this year’s CHAN tournament.

Presenting the gift at a dinner organised by the Nigerian Chancery in Rwanda, was the Chairman of the LMC Shehu Dikko, who applauded the team’s performance, adding that they have been good ambassadors of the league.

Dikko, who is also the 2nd Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) said: “The LMC, club owners and all the stake holders of the league appreciate your excellent display tonight.

“We are proud of the team. You guys have been good ambassadors of the league and I have been mandated to present this cash as reward for your hard work.”

Sunday Oliseh’s side will face Tunisia on Friday, while Guinea will slog it out with Niger Republic.
