Look Unto God Not Government, Cleric Tells Christians

Senior Pastor of The Glorious Church International (TGCI), Rotimi Adedunmoye, has said that the success of Christians should not be determined by the state of the economy.

He made the statement yesterday in Abuja while delivering his Sunday sermon tagged “faith for good success.”

Pastor Adedunmoye, while noting that he was aware that several people regarded year 2016 as a tough year, asserted that it is a productive year for those who are faithful to the things of God.

Speaking on the “Change” situation experienced in the country, Pastor Adedunmoye who is fondly called Pastor Ro by church members, said that his church has experienced success as members had travelled out of the country, obtained new and better jobs, bought new cars, dedicated houses and celebrated new marriages within the year.

He said that Christians around the world should rather have faith in God than in what the government could offer.

Expatiating on how faith is a booster in the attainment of good success, Adedunmoye said, “faith is the lifeline in the journey to good success. It is the lifeline of every Christian. It is the oxygen of survival and it never fails.”

He further noted that faith is what turns the word of God to the power of God, adding that Christians should cling to the scripture which says that “the just shall live by faith.”
