Lucas Moura, Javi Gracia Win Premier League Award For August

Tottenham Hotspur Winger, Lucas Moura has been named August English Premier League (EPL) Player of the Month following a strong performance.

The former Paris Saint-Germain star scored his first EPL goal in Spurs’ 3-1 win over Fulham, and then put in a man-of-the-match performance as Pochettino’s side won 3-0 at Manchester United home.

26-year-old Brazilian defeated Sadio Mane, Virgil van Dijk, Marcos Alonso, Roberto Pereyra, Benjamin Mendy and Neil Etheridge to the honour.

Tottenham take on Liverpool at Wembley after the international break on September 15.

Similarly, Watford manager Javi Gracia, emerged winner of the Premier League’s manager of the month for August after guiding the Hornets to a perfect start to the season with four wins from four.

New signing Jean Michael Seri won goal of the month for his thunder strike in Fulham’s win against Crystal Palace.
