The presidency, on Thursday, said it will soon respond to the rejection of Ibrahim Magu as the substantive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
This was revealed by the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, via Twitter.

Recall that the Nigerian Senate, on Wednesday, rejected Magu’s nomination as Chairman of the anti-graft agency following a damming report by the Department of States Security, DSS.
Magu, who was re-nominated by Buhari in December, was rejected by the senate for the second time in three months.
Adesina, in the statement, said the Presidency will respond to Magu’s non-clearance after it receives official communication in writing from the Senate.
