‘Make FEC An Annual Meeting’, Reno Omokri Mocks Buhari

Former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has reacted to the cancellation of the weekly Federal Executive Council, FEC meeting.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Mr. Lai Mohammed, had announced that the “two-day public holidays declared for the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations left little or no time to prepare for the weekly meeting.”

The cancellation of the weekly meeting makes it the second time it will occur in three weeks following Buhari’s return from a three month medical trip.

Omokri, venting his anger via his twitter handle said that Sallah break was not enough reason to cancel FEC meeting, especially in times when the country was being faced with ASUU and Resident Doctors’ Strike.

“PMB cancels tomorrow’s FEC meeting AGAIN!!!

“There is no need for this constant disappointment.

“PMB should just make FEC an annual meeting!”
