Manchester United Explain Extension Of Ighalo’s Loan Deal

Manchester United have pointed out three reasons why it extended the loan deal of Odion Jude Ighalo’s which was due to elapse May 31, this year.

The Nigerian had joined United during the deadline day of the January transfer window from Chinese side, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua.

The club however reached an agreement with his club to extend the deal which would see the Nigerian stay at Old Trafford until January 31, 2021.

The club in a statement on its verified Twitter said Ighalo’s hard work
and goals scored were among reasons for loan extension.

“A tenacious work rate, passion for the red shirt and goals to his name — just three reasons why we love IghaloJude.”

They also said, “The boss is just as happy as all of you, Reds #MUFC @IghaloJude.”

The ex- Super Eagles forward has scored four in 8 appearances in all completions.

The Premier League season will restart on June 17, with United in fifth place and making desperate efforts to qualify for the Champions League.
