Manchester United Not Appealing Pogba Red Card

Manchester United announced on Monday that the club have chosen not to appeal Paul Pogba’s red card against on Arsenal.

The 24-year-old Central Midfielder was dismissed in United’s 3-1 win at Arsenal on Saturday for catching Hector Bellerin with his studs.

Additionally, it’s been noted that French International will not receive any extra sanctions on top of his three-game ban after he mockingly applauded the match officials following the decision.

Following the development, Pogba stands suspended for the crucial derby against Manchester City on Sunday.

The Red Devils are currently 8 points below league leaders, Manchester City and will hope to manage Pogba’s absence as they play host to their arch rivals.
